This year Drone-Rental.com will start offering remote access to autonomous Docked Drones in several locations around Europe.
At Drone-Rental.com are working on an entirely new service that we will make available to our customers shortly. Our upcoming Docked Drone Operations will allow customers to fly autonomous drones remotely from anywhere worldwide.
In practice, that means that as a Drone-Rental customer you will be able to gain access to autonomous drones in various locations. Once you have picked the location you require the drone from, you can simply book a time slot and fly the drone remotely. No need to travel to the location, no need to wait for the drone to be shipped to you, you just get started without having to leave your desk. The drones can be booked hourly.
Utilizing the DJI Dock
For our new autonomous drone service, we use DJI’s new DJI Dock. At least year’s Airworks conference in Las Vegas, market leader presented their new drone-in-a-box product to the invited audience. Now, in 2023 the product is about to hit the European market. In fact, the first demo devices have been shipped to selected resellers and are ready to be deployed. Later this year DJI will start the official sales of the DJI Dock.
The DJI Dock houses a DJI Matrice 30 that lands, recharges, takes off, and executes missions programmed in DJI FlightHub 2. It can be accessed remotely from anywhere in the world.
